Founder
Roscelyn Garner, PhD
Dr. Garner is a seasoned healthcare leader, consultant, and advocate dedicated to advancing dignified, sustainable care for aging and medically complex populations. Her multidisciplinary academic background includes a Doctorate of Philosophy in Health Services from Walden University, a Master of Arts in Gerontology from San Francisco State University, a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, and an Associate’s degree in Community Social Services—providing a strong foundation for navigating the social, political, and clinical systems that shape healthcare delivery.
A Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, Dr. Garner brings deep operational experience shaped by leadership and frontline roles including Executive Director, Administrator, Social Services Manager, Assistant Administrator, and Customer Services Manager. She is also a Certified Dietary Manager and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, offering a comprehensive, 360-degree perspective on facility management, regulatory compliance, nutrition, and psychosocial care. As the founder of Geriatric Passions Health Services, she leads a consulting practice focused on regulatory compliance, dementia and memory-care support, healthcare informatics, and specialized advocacy for veterans, mental health populations, and women and children in transition. Her work is grounded in service through her role as an Alzheimer’s Association Ambassador, with a continued commitment to care defined by dignity, education, and clinical integrity.
